Job Title: Senior General Ledger Accountant

Pay Rate: $35-$42/hour

Overview
We are seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to support increased workload within a nonprofit environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in nonprofit accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries and monthly close activities
• Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with nonprofit accounting standards
• Support audits and provide documentation as needed
• Analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal teams on accounting processes and improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
• Prior nonprofit accounting experience required
• Experience with Blackbaud or Financial Edge strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
